RG Head's story of philanthropy and involvement in the Coronado community makes him a worthy recipient of Coronado Private Bank's Citizen of the Year Award for 2014.
Starting with the fact he build a replica of the Red Baron's plane that is located in the children's section of the Coronado Public Library. He was a fleet captain at the Coronado Cays Yacht Club in 2008, and he served as Commodore in 2012. He was also a board member of the Trinidad Village Homeowners Association where he was able to facilitate the new concrete dock. He managed the million-dollar project to rebuild all the docks and pilings, which were constructed over 30 years ago. They will now last another 30 years. He is a lector and usher at Christ Episcopal Church, an active Member of the Coronado Hospital Foundation and a supporter of Coronado Island Film Festival.
