Low Tide Ride & StrideLOW TIDE RIDE & STRIDE

Coronado Private Bank was the Platinum Sponsor for the Low Tide Ride & Stride Race put on by the Coronado Rotary Club.  We had a team of 20 individuals from our Newport office, San Diego –UTC office and our Coronado Office.  It was fun for all.  The proceeds from this event went to support the wounded warriors, primarily the Comprehensive Combat Complex Casualty Care (C5) Unit at the Naval Medical Center San Diego and the Warrior Foundation.  Also a portion supports local community programs selected by the Rotary Club of Coronado.


Concert in the ParkCONCERT IN THE PARK

Coronado Private Bank was honored again this year to sponsored Concert in the Park.  The band was a group of local's, The Lonesome Georges.   This is a great venue and fun for all.  The concerts are held at  Spreckels Park and have been a staple of Coronado life for over four decades.  Sunday concerts in the park are signature elements of the Coronado experience where friendships and family memories are made.  This summer’s series promises to be as entertaining, fun and awesome as any in our 44 year history.  We are exceptionally proud to be a sponsor.

San Diego Private Bank is a proud sponsor of Rancho Santa Fe Community Center.  We supported the Moroccan Fantasy Gala on May 17th.  This is their biggest fundraiser of the year and all proceeds benefit the Community Center, a non-profit organization that has been serving the Rancho Santa Fe Community for over 40 years.

4th Annual Coronado Valentine's Day 10K


FEBRUARY 16, 2014

San Diego Private Bank staff participated in the 4th Annual Coronado Valentine's Day 10K. The event was held at Tidelands Park on a beautiful Sunday. Our "Courage Team" was there in full support of this fundraising event for The Islander Sports Foundation and Stephen J. Wampler Foundation.  We had a great time and can't wait until next year.


2013 Coronado Citizen of the Year

This year, Coronado Private Bank named Spiro Chaconas its 2013 Citizen of the Year in recognition of the positive and continuous force he has been in the Coronado community.

His ownership of Spiro's Gyros led him to become active with Coronado's business community.  He served on the board of directors of the former Coronado Visitors Bureau from 1997 through 1999 and on the board of the Coronado Chamber of Commerce from 1999 thourgh 2001.  He has been a member of Rotary Club of Coronado since 1999 and in San Diego has served many years on the parish council, including six years as president, at St. Spyridon's Greek Orthodox Church.
